Withdrawal and returns
For online workshops, the right to withdraw generally lasts 14 days from conclusion of the contract. Details and a sample statement appear in the FORM ZERO ACADEMY terms. You can also submit a statement from your order page.
For printed publications, consumers generally have 14 days from receipt to send a withdrawal statement. For e-book contracts, the period generally runs from conclusion of the contract. No reason is required.
Returning a printed publication
After withdrawal, return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of giving the statement. The consumer bears the direct return cost and is responsible for diminished value only where handling exceeded what was necessary to establish the product’s nature, characteristics and functioning. Inspecting a product alone does not remove the withdrawal right. Return address: ELSYNOR spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, ul. Św. Mikołaja 8/11, lok. 208, 50-125 Wrocław. Consent to early e-book delivery in the same order does not remove the withdrawal right for printed publications.
E-books — digital content supplied without a physical medium
- As a rule, consumers may withdraw from an e-book supply contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion, subject to the conditions below.
- Czytivo supplies e-books after payment confirmation, before that period ends. This requires the customer’s separate, express consent to early delivery and acknowledgement that the right to withdraw without giving a reason will be lost once the service has been performed. The customer gives this statement before ordering by actively selecting a checkbox in the checkout; it is not selected by default. Without this statement, an order for immediate e-book delivery will not be accepted.
- The seller emails confirmation of the contract, its terms, the consent given and information about the loss of the right to withdraw. This confirmation is provided on a durable medium no later than when the digital content is supplied.
- An e-book is supplied when the content, or a working means of accessing and downloading it to the customer’s device, is made available. If the purchase includes EPUB and PDF, the seller provides access to both. A debit to an account, payment confirmation or a non-working link does not itself constitute delivery.
- After delivery and fulfilment of all the conditions above, the customer loses the right to withdraw from the contract for that e-book without giving a reason, under Article 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act. It is not necessary to have read the book. Placing an order, paying or accepting the terms alone does not remove this right. Before delivery, the customer may withdraw within the statutory period. This exception does not apply if the required consent, information or confirmation is missing.
- These rules do not exclude complaints or statutory remedies for failure to supply content or lack of conformity, including a price reduction or withdrawal where the law provides. They also apply to individual business owners where the contract qualifies for the protection under Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.
- In an order containing both an e-book and physical goods, the consent concerns digital content only. It does not restrict the right to withdraw from the purchase of physical goods.
How to give notice
Send an unambiguous statement before the deadline, for example to the seller’s address or info@czytivo.pl. The sample below is optional. We acknowledge electronic statements by email. Neither a particular form nor an account is required.
Refunds
Following valid withdrawal, the seller refunds payments within 14 days of receiving the statement, generally by the same payment method unless the consumer expressly agrees to another method without charge. For returned printed publications, the refund includes the least expensive standard delivery offered at purchase. The seller may withhold reimbursement until receiving the goods or evidence of return, whichever occurs first.
